The College 1 Institute is a 2.5-day workshop designed to foster an environment of inclusivity among educators across various disciplines through collaboration, with a focus on educational equity practices and frameworks specific to serving first-year community college students. This workshop series prepares faculty for teaching College 1 (IDST 110) which is a 3-unit, CSU transferable course that is part of Year One, CSM’s first-year experience program.
